As the proprietor of the Law Office of Neil E. Roberts, I am guided by the following two principles:
1) Failure is not an option; and
2) There is more than one-way to skin a cat.
These expressions go hand in hand. I often win because I learn things from the ground up, rather than the top down. Armed with nothing but my wits and a passion for justice, plus the experience of over thirty years in the legal profession, I can find ways to prevail that most attorneys have never even heard of.
I began my legal career while attending college at UCLA in Los Angeles when I got a paralegal job at Jones, Day, the world's largest law firm. Even though I was offered a job at Goldman Sachs, I was so fascinated with the transactions and cases at Jones, Day - not to mention their incredibly talented attorneys - that I realized the law was a much better fit than investment banking.
As general counsel of Singlesnet for three years I gained significant knowledge of laws affecting the Internet and interstate commerce. Recognized the correlation of company’s declining sales to a permanent shift in market demand sale of company to Match.com.
