Meet Attorney Neil E. Roberts

Having a passion for the study of economics, I jumped at the opportunity to work as a paralegal in the real estate department of Jones, Day, the world's largest firm. This experience led me to forego an offer to work at Goldman Sachs, and instead I returned to my roots to attend Boston University School of Law where I earned my law degree.

After law school, I began my legal career as general counsel for Chandler Development Company, a commercial real estate company in Massachusetts, where I worked for eight years. I spent another seven years working as an attorney for other local firms until I opened up my own firm.

Solid Education and Background Create a Solid Foundation For Practice of Law

Boston University School of Law, J.D.

University of California, Los Angeles, B.A. economics/business, cum laude

My joint degree in economics/business at UCLA provided me with a solid understanding of virtually all aspects of the world of real estate, general business and financial transactions. Over the years, I have expanded my practice to include probate and family law. My greatest legal expertise, however, involves "personal jurisdiction: that is, the constitutional right of a court sitting in one state to adjudicate the rights of a person in another state.

As a lawyer, I consider myself a generalist as I take on a wide variety of cases. I also assist many clients with litigation and appeals cases. Read more about the types of cases I handle on My Practice Areas page.
